Is Enterprise DevOps overly Ambitious?

 Leela Putten is a IT Specialist Consultant currently working in the DevSecOps and Quality Assurance Delivery space with a passion for empowering people, chasing her goals and making a difference. Born in Mauritius, she moved to Scotland to pursue her IT Security passion for a year before moving to South Africa 10 years ago where she started working with Rubric in the IT Quality Assurance (QA) space in performance and security roles across multiple financial institutions.  Her current focus is in the advisory space in technical delivery roles in digital transformation projects as well as lecture in the QA space  

In a hyper-connected world where it is becoming critical to deliver faster to be competitive, a lot of organisations have been exploring and attempting to modernise their IT business technology, process and cultural landscape. In this talk, we aim to share a practical discussion based on different shared learnings, anecdotes and insights  from inside the walls of businesses which are on a journey of adoption the new style of working that is DevOps.  The different case studies shared are across different business areas ranging from telecommunication, insurance and banking industries gained over the years. The presentation concludes with a summary of key points to aim for success.
